Whats odd is that the BBC coverage didn't seem to be delayed. Just checked this morning- on Radio 2 Ken Bruce was talking but you can just hear the comment in the background.

Which begs the question as to how the BBC managed to censor it?

The BBC Coverage did seem to be slightly delayed, but only by around 5 seconds, the only reason I can think of, as to why, was to synchronise the Red Button coverage between the Video and Radio Two sound for Ken Bruce's commentary.

When Eric Saade was in the green room, he said something which was muted by the BBC. By I'm at a loss to as to how they muted it when it was 'Live'.

What did he say ? Perhaps it was scripted, so the Beeb knew it was coming (unlikely I know !)

I assumed the sound just dipped due to a technical error.

I think he referred to Petra as a "milf". TBH, I assumed that it was just a technical error fading out the mic too soon, especially as they then had 30 seconds or so of holding shots (I assume this is the point we're talking about, here).

Later, when they went to Eric, just after the announcement of the winner, they didn't fade his mic up quickly enough, so I assumed them both to be technical errors, but according to those who watched the SVT feed, the initial comment (on a throwback to Petra) was cut by the Beeb.

How could the BBC cut it out so quickly? It's unfathomable as to how they did it even if it was a 5 second delay...

I can confirm that he did call Petra a Milth as I was there in Malmo Arena on Saturday night. I thought the BBC coverage was a bit weird when I played it back last night.
