Found some clips with extra audio tracks.

Clips on YouTube? Could you link to them? Sounds very interesting.

Not on YouTube. If you look for them you will find them.

I've looked but I don't really know what to search.

Well - the uplink uses MPEG2 4:2:2 ...

Searching "Eurovision MPEG2 4:2:2" only brings up sites with the full contest available to download and none of them seem to talk about these extra audio feeds. Not exactly clips! Very Happy

Bare in mind that I'm not technically minded so I haven't really got a clue on what to search beyond what you've told me! Very Happy

Suspect any further discussion re: sourcing copyright material is probably a bit dodgy.

All you hear is an EBU co-ordinator talking to each spokesperson as they appear, checking their sound/vision and framing, and then asking them to switch from audio 3 (the co-ordination circuit) to audio 4 (the presenter mics clean circuit) It's quite straightforward and not exactly exciting - though there is some nice banter!

It appears that the EBU uplink 6 audio circuits (on the HD - not sure about the SD - feeds)

Tracks 1 & 2 (MP2 384kbps stereo pair) are stereo programme sound
Tracks 3 & 4 (MP2 384kbps stereo pair) are co-ordination and presenter mics clean (during voting - the early part of the contest is just ident loops in English and French)
Tracks 5 & 6 (SMPTE 302 PCM carried Dolby E at around 2300kbps) 5.1 surround programme sound

For those interested the video is approx 38Mbs 1080i25 4:2:2 MPEG2. (Interesting that this is a lot lower than the BBC (used to?) mandate for live BBC HD shows - they wanted a minimum of 60Mbs...)
