That has to be the most awful credits!, how could anyone read them as there tiny.

Does anyone actually really want to read them though. BTW, is there a separate French feed with the graphics in French?

As for the UK - it'll be back to the drawing board again with the BBC blaming everyone but the act and those who selected it again. Tonight's result was no surprise and wouldn't have been much different if The Hump had performed later in the evening IMO.

The song was forgettable. Little promotion given in Europe before hand and a bad position.

I thought Graham Norton was poor tonight and although not his fault it was annoying he was obviously seeing the images a few seconds before the viewer.

Yes, the two second or so difference between the commentary was irritating - especially when it came to the voting as often you'd get comments which were overlapping the presenters.

However, I thought Graham was pretty good tonight. The previous years I always thought he had tried a little too hard at being Terry's replacement. I felt he had a certain understated style tonight which came across as pretty natural, and the jokes didn't seem laboured or done for the sake of it as a result.

After all, the Eurozone is in crisis so it calls for a good bit of UK straight down the line, stiff upper lip presentation. Smile

To many people the UK's entry was just 'an old bloke singing a boring song', whoever thought that was Eurovision wining material has obviously never watched Eurovision in previous years. Many people dismissed it months ago which is never a good sign.

I was rooting for Jedward this year as I am from Ireland; but, they were very disappointing in terms of the performance IMO. I could barely hear the song being performed. Even though the result was better than the UK. As a matter of fact I hate the block voting in Eurovision, it's bring the vote down for so many and yet so few. And Sweden was one of the many few this year and won it. You just couldn't write it off.

My Congratulations to Sweden winning Eurovision this year. It was by far the best song of the competition from all the other ones.

My worst Eurovision song for this year for me (if you are in agreement) was Albania. She has a fine set of lungs of her to be fair. But screaming in a song is a no no for me in Eurovision. We in Ireland couldn't stand it.

It wasn't a lively song and pretty depressing as an opener. It's difficult because it's easy to think it's all political, neighbourly voting but then you go back to 2009 - the Andrew Lloyd Webber year when we came 5th and it really seems it's the type of song.

If we were only in the 'teen' digits for the past 5 years or so, I'd be saying we should pull out definitely but there's still little glimmers of hope shall we say - not to say we'll ever win it again because I don't think we will.

Will this have an impact on Engelbert's career? No. He's had a lengthly career.

So Sweden have won, taking their total number of wins to 5:
1974 Waterloo
1984 Diggi-Loo Diggi-Ley
1991 Fangad av en Stormvind
1999 Take Me To Your Heaven
2012 Euphoria

Sweden is a country I didn't mind qualifying, but wasn't one I particularly wanted to qualify, and didn't really want them to win tonight. However I'm glad they've now won and not the Russian grannies. Russia's entry was a load of nauseating garbage, it was grossly over-rated, presumably just for the classic granny costumes. Other countries e.g. Spain, Serbia, Ireland, Iceland were far more deserving of higher places than Russia's garbage.

Actually I think the best way for us to have a chance now is for someone other than the BBC to take charge of the selection process as I think they'd make a real effort of it (in the first year at least), so I guess the only way for that to happen would be for the BBC to drop out and inevitably one of the other PSBs pick it up as a result.
