Interesting- that's possibly an idea they've got from the Junior Contest- they've had the green room situated in full view in the arena pretty much every year as far as I can remember
... I doubt if there's anywhere else in the constricted design of the Crystal Arena (must try and see how the building is proceding too) to place the Green Room.
Hmm, slightly interesting waltz. Taps into the 'European street busker' type theme although if Europop is back in fashion, we've got a problem! Could be interesting.

It may also be a reflection on the number of people they expect to turn up for the event(s) as audience. One of the reasons the "green room" has been behind the stage in the last few years is because it's effectively wasted space, and you can fit more paying punters in.
Also, on another note, does anyone know (off the top of their heads) what the local running times for the contest will be? Am I right in saying this is the most easterly one ever?

It normally runs from 8pm till 11:30pm (GMT+1) here
In Moscow it was 11pm, till 2:30am (GMT+4)
In Baku it will be 12pm till 3:30am (GMT+5) I think?
The one country that dislikes our entry is the UK. It seems to be going down well pretty much everywhere else.
Really? I'm surprised to hear that as it sounds rather dated to me, kind of like the sort of song better suited to the late 1950s / early 1960s than now.

Retro is back in vogue. Italy have a pretty retro entry as well.
