First time I've really watched Eurovision. So could someone explain why they are speaking English? Yet are from Germany?

Yes, indeed. Looks very nice in HD, too. What was the English speaker saying over the voting numbers, when Graham was explaining that he has to speak over the top of the English person?

Because English and French are widely spoken languages across Europe, hence why they speak English, and why they repeat it in French after.

QuickTime crashes in FF4 for me too.

When they were playing that 90-second set transformation video thing I actually played the News 24 1999 countdown to it to see if it was 90 seconds long. It was only about 85.

I am now officially sad.

Are the BBC going to put the Twitter/Facebook/Online tags on top of every postcard?!
