Don't forget, if you have Sky you can also watch on 802. Not in HD or even widescreen but at least you can compare presentation.

a German channel?

Girl representing Hungary looks like a cross between Katrina from Katrina and the Waves and one of the Cheeky Girls.

Belarus was f*cking awful, as cheesy as Scooch.

The filler videos are poor this year too. There is something lacking in the presentation this year. It feels so second rate. As for the songs, Europe seems to be liking the 'emo/goth' look this year dont they.

What's it like in HD, if we have anyone here watching that?

How does the set etc. hold up, and the graphics?

Song 8: Hungary "Unsubstantial blues" Magdi Rúzsa
Oh dear! After the best, the worst so far, HUNGARY. How the devil did this qualify? Why couldn't Denmark or Norway have won its place instead? Nauseating trash, I say. An awful song. Or could it just be that blues is not my style?

Bloke with the electric guitar wearing jeans (low dress standard) and the BUS STOP sign. Yes, still got the BUS STOP sign from the semi final, what's its significance? I saw no bus come along.

The lead singer sounds like a cat is strangling her. Neutral Laughing

The start of the Lithuanian entry sounds like Dido's "Thank You".

She looks like Lisa Stansfield as well.

Is it just me or is there a distinct lack of cheese this year so far? Every song is far to real world for Eurovision.

A decent song from Hungary, a good strong vocal performance.

To be quite honest, for a moment I thought her voice was going to go, when she was trying to hit those loud highs...

An also the cutscene ahead of the Hungary entry, that was some rather strange music - sounded like the tape was gradually speeding up and up! Shocked

Maybe this can work in out in favour!

Song only marginally better than Hungary. One lady singing in the centre, and four musicians playing musical instruments live behind. All we can see is their shadows? Why? Is that for artistic purposes? An original idea, I say - is it to stand out from the crowd? Pas pour moi.

What number is Scooch on?
