Eurovision 2007 - Helsinki

Portugal : another of my favourites. Love this song, I wish I could sing more than just "Dança comigo". Great dance routine. They're going through. Could it possibly even be their first ever win?

F.Y.R. Macedonia : Another questionable song, fairly catchy chorus, but not one of my favourites. Might just make it through.

I thought Austria's entry is quite decent.

Norway : another of my favourites. In fact one of my top three semi finalists. Great catchy, instantly memorable chorus. I soon picked that up listening to the song on the CD, without looking at the lyrics. Just sang along with the chorus during the performance. Excellent dance routine. Pity the middle eight couldn't have been better than just:

Ven a bailar conmigo
Let's dance!
Ooh...

Now obviously I'm biased having watched Strictly Come Dancing last autumn, and another dance show the last couple months, but mark my words, they're going thorough. See you Saturday Norway!

Malta : done some good ones in recent years, this year's isn't so good as their last few. Still one that I've classed as questionable. Not sure they'll qualify, let alone win.

Great joke there, great Malteser. Anything to do with the chocolate covered honeycomb balls?

Andorra : time for me to go and make myself a cup of coffee. Downright nauseating trash. Fourth time on the trot of recent newcomers Andorra not qualifying (2004, 2005, 2006, 2007).

Ahh.. the joys of mud, or could it just be a recreation of the Soviet invasion?

Hungary : Two years ago you did a great one "Forogj, világ!", what a disappointing one this time. Too dated a style! Another of my hated songs tonight. What's the significance of the bus stop sign? Goodbye, this won't go through.

Estonia - What an earth are those long dangly things draping from her ears... and her clevage is rather sparkly.

and now it;'s the Finland version of 'the Deliverance' what with the canoe oar going downstream.

Estonia : the third of my top three (Denmark, Estonia and Norway). Great power ballad, outstanding clarity of voice, catchy chorus. Interesting structure too: verse 1, verse 2, chorus, verse 3, chorus (twice), middle eight (a good one), chorus (twice), outtro. They deserve to go through.

Belgium : a 70s disco type song. Another one I'd call questoinnable.

The Finish Delia Smith is this.... childcare, WHAT A SCARY MUM, she'd freak me out if I was a child... she was very bendy, I hope her name was Wendy.

Slovenia - God Lisa Ryley has lost some weight... I wondered where she had disapeared to.
