Eurovision 2007 - Helsinki

Got to agree the Staging is amazing.
Will they be talking to Scootch on BBC 3 tonight maybe 5 mintues at the end like they did with Daz last year?

Georgia : another of my least liked songs so far (and of all the semis through lisstening to the CD). I know there debuants, but let them stay out of the final, their first timer isn't good enough to qualify let alone win.

Montenegro : a lively song, quite liked this. "'Ajde kroèi" - memorable lyrics. Easy bit to remember, easy to pronounce. A possible qualifier.

Switzerland : another of my favourites. They must go through.

Moldova : another entry I'd class as "questionable", but not one of my favourites. The chorus reminds me of a song earlier this decade, a song from 2003 I think, can't remember which one. Might compare it with my 2003 CD tomorrow.

Netherlands : better than the double Dutch "Amambanda" they put in last year, but still below par. No chance of qualifying this year, try again next year.

Albania : male vocalist with a good bass voice. Kinda like Demis Rousoss. Another questionable one, sounds better in English "Hear My Plea". I thought the whole thing was going to be in English.

Now for my favourite of all so far, I've thoroughly liked this since I first heard it on eurovsion.tv:

Denmark : I'm your Drama Queen tonight. I've picked up and sung that chorus whilst listening tot he song on eurovision.tv, and listening to it on the ESC CD. Catchy song, I'll be gutted if it doesnt go through. It's GOT TO GO THROUGH!

One gripe, it's middle eight could be stronger. 19/20.

Croatia : Well after such a great song as Denmark, back to a below par song. Croata can sit it out of the final this year.

Do you think not apearing in the semi final can damge a countrys chances? (having said that if we did we probebly wouldnt get through lol)

Poland : another of my most disliked songs this evening. Another non-qualifier.

What makes you think that? I'm not sure on that, two years ago Greece won and I think they were a direct qualifier (i.e. didn't appear in the semi) that year.

Serbia : another questionable entry, but not one of my favourites. Not sure which is better: Serbia or Montenegro.

Czech Republic : nauseating trash. Another song I detest. No thanks, I don't want this on Saturday.
