DixonBaxi then. Thought it odd, nowhere in any press release yesterday, did Discovery Europe actually mention who was the design team behind the rebrand.

Explains the flashing short text style of the teasers at the start of the week, very similar to the new break bumpers of BT Sport.
Wonder if BT Sport ended up with a modified version of an abandoned concept for this rebrand?

DigiGuide were given an embargo of midday today for use of the new logos.

Have the on screen graphics been made 16:9 safe then? From memory they were always 4:3 safe which is a bit pointless these days, at least make them a bit more closer to the edge!

Weird, we had an embargo for midnight here. So, if anybody fancy a really really really high res version... Laughing

They were using them on their own websites before midnight anyway.

The new DOG is much nicer than the old one on broadcast.

At least it isn't coloured, and it looks smaller and neater on screen. Smile

I'm confused by the branding. Visuals and trailers say Eurosport 1 and Eurosport 2, yet is still British Eurosport in all but name?

Still dedicated channels and schedules for the UK and Ireland, but "British" dropped from the branding.

Shame they can't use the even smaller 'E' logo for the DOG, like Discovery do.

One novelty, for UK viewers, is the sting announcement on screen of 'Advertising' at the start of every break, commonplace over the Channel but new here.
