Yes both 4K and HD feeds are in H265. I've some recordings if your interested, its a weak signal so it has abit of breakup. Perhaps later on or if cloud cover I have lifts I might get a better signal on it. Its also FTA.

Many thanks - we don't currently have any HDR displays at work, but I'm sure some recordings will be useful for when we do.

What I don’t understand with HLG is when i watch it on a SDR display the pictures are dull, I thought it was meant to look great in SDR too

I gave it a go, but our professional HEVC decoder wouldn't display anything - I suspect it's only licensed for 2160p50 so refused to do anything else. Our 2016 Samsung did a decent job of playing back a recording of the transport stream. The detail looked great, but I think it could have been struggling with the 100fps, as it looked a little juddery.

Probably looks amazing on the right kit!

Seems to be a number of Metadata issues out of Berlin tonight with the coverage. On screen data late and erroneous at times. Some of the audio from the field events also clipped occasionally.

Seems to have been issues with the timings across the sports, noticeably in cycling.

The big plywood box is the BBC; ZDF (possibly sharing with ARD?) have two bays of the awnings at the end; and I'm not sure who's got all the bunting. Very conveniently located for the bar.

No OB trucks (or even SNGs), so I guess there's a whole load of flyaway kit on the ground floor.
