I completely agree with you there, the Euronews Weather music is brilliant. What I d like is to have the music without the voice introducing the maps. I also like the headline bed they sometimes play at the top of the hour.
The music before the present style used (which was about a year ago) was much better. Apparently there was an uproar from many viewers when they changed the music!!! Ill have to post it here sometime when I get my TV card!!
I think the tune used for the weather sounds suspiciously like some of the 'euro-tracks' used for certain movies from Holland...
Where would you get that from????
DD
Dolby Digital
Does anyone know of any sites or anyone who has videos of the various bits in euronews? I remember having it on anologue a while ago. Ah that music was good.
I have just sent an e-mail to EuroNews in Lyon, and is as follows:
I am a regular viewer of EuroNews in the United Kingdom, and particularly enjoy listening to the music used during the weather bulletins.
I would be grateful if you could provide me with further details about this music. Is the song commercially available, or is there any way I could locate a copy of this music?
Any assistance would be gratefully received. Many thanks for your help.
Now who could resist a nice, polite, delightful letter like that? Probably EuroNews...

Euronews is great, isn't it? Watched loads of it when I was in Cyprus this year on my holiday, and that music is wonderful. I would also love to get hold of the weather music.
Note that stab on the hour is now - dum dum dum da-da-da dum. I love it! The way it works - no presenters - just rolling news. Bad thing - their e-news and Style Features etc. are repeated and repeated. What did they do during the terrorist attacks? Have presenters?
No, same sort of thing really. Although they did have dedicated stabs for 'Terror in America', and Perspectives was also dedicated to the US with its own caption of the WTC in flames.
