So, where do we think the BBC and ITV studios will be?
Clearly, England/Wales games will be anchored from the stadiums, but the other matches?
Salford (BBC) and Maidstone (ITV)?

RTÉ have released a invitation of interest to sub-licence some games from Euro 2020 to other broadcasters in the Republic of Ireland.

This was inevitable because the games can either go to Virgin Media Ireland or TG4.
The costs on the other hand could be quite prohibitive for TG4 to take some games because the matches from the men's tournament. RTÉ probably could not afford to show all of the games of the tournament at once because of their financial troubles that were announced from last year. I would assume VM will take the sub-licensed games again like what they have done for Euro 2016. But the package for these games being awarded is not known yet until someone gets their hands on the tender that offers the games for this year's tournament. The package once again does not include the Republic of Ireland matches, because RTÉ has those games, if the team qualifies after they win their matches in the play-offs.

Does that chime with some posts I've seen on social media that were trialling remote UK match production from a UK control room elsewhere but with equipment in the Netherlands?
I'd not heard that - but I think the BBC and ITV are planning on anchoring from the UK, so it doesn't make sense to have a massive footprint in the Netherlands.

I believe the BBC are certainly planning on having their anchor team in the UK. Not sure about ITV though.

It wouldn’t make sense for them to be based anywhere else really.

For the full thing or will they be flying them out to the stadiums for the Quarters? (as the semis and final are at Wembley I assume they will be on location)
