Nice and balanced punditry panel on England v Wales then. Where's John Harrison?
I expect they will have a Welsh Pundit on the coverage of England v Wales in the studio alongside Savage on commentary and Dean Saunders is down on the BBC website as doing highlights of the match so he might be on the live coverage. I assume you mean John Hartson who is on 5 Live for the match. The BBC website states 5 Live coverage is being presented by Mark Chapman with commentary by John Murray, Alan Green, Chris Waddle & John Hartson.

There's no way all the pundits will be English. As mentioned, they're unlikely to only have two pundits in any case.
Awful coverage of the Wales games, especially as BBC Wales aren't doing their own thing. I'm not sure what's worse - the fact the pundits are all English or the fact that it looks like we'll have to suffer Robbie Savage on all Welsh games.

I think you're right about Arena being the 'host' provider - they'd have had three outputs, with differently-branded graphics but the same pictures. BT and the BBC then had wraparound presentation, adding their own bits on top of that.
Timeline provided the UHD OB, with different cameras. On some Premier League OBs, they'll share some cameras (HD gets a downconverted output), but I'm not sure if that happened for the FA Cup.
on Saturday night, the HD OB went away, and just the UHD cameras remained for Sunday - the Vase/Trophy was one programme, with the HD channel being a downconvert of the UHD. You can probably expect to see more of this kind of thing next season.

Thegeek used the word 're-rig', so I take that to mean they had to de-rig the UHD cameras, and then 're-rig' into the positions vacated by the BBC Sport cameras from Saturday.
I would have thought the HD cameras BT Sport used for the FA Cup, would have been used to cover the games on Sunday - unless those were done by a different OB provider.

Is having separate HD and UHD operations a legacy contract thing (existing HD company couldn't do UHD/didn't get the contract) or is it a belt and braces thing until the UHD tech is proven so HD is there as a back up?

Oh? What happened?
(That said SISLive did move into sports production for the Delhi Commonwealth Games. Which didn't end well...)
Oh? What happened?

Arena have no UHD OB trucks yet, (though they have two in build at present, presumably in time for the new PL season)
Timeline's UHD truck can only handle 12 UHD cameras, the two new Arena trucks will be 24 cam outfits.
