Coverage on BBC Four?!? That must be a first.

Coverage on BBC Four?!? That must be a first.

I copied that over from the press release but with BBC Three gone I suppose they had no other option but to use BBC Four, couldn't really see Euro 2016 on BBC News Channel or BBC Parliament. Also I believe Open Championship last year was the first ever live sport on BBC Four so this will be the first ever live football on that channel.

So no separate TV coverage for Wales then. Really do think it is needed for the England game at least.

I wonder if it'll be the same studio as World Cup 98?

You mean the same position as 1998 ? I think it was the roof of a hospital (or am I getting mixed up with Cape Town 2010 ?)

Yes you're getting mixed up.

Looking at the schedules the BBC only have one 8pm kick-off in the final round of group matches. Really don't think Romania v Albania justifies putting football on BBC4 - that would be fine on red button regardless of whether the two 5pm clashes are given a slot on BBC2.

It was on the roof of the French Automobile Club.

I think after today's news about David Ginola probably won't be part of the talkSPORT coverage and we hope he makes a full recovery.

Don't really understand why Lineker is presenting the opening match?

Sorry didn't even hear the news about Ginola until you mentioned it so I wish him all the best in his recovery
