I thought the Wirral was in Cheshire?

It is, close to Merseyside. Don't quite know where Devon came from! And I suppose a lot of people will be saying California can keep their Nazi sympathizing, groping former actor!

Quick question - did Esther McVey ever do any continuity announcing for the BBC? I'm sure I've heard her voice behind some of the idents.

Devon?!?!? Well to be honest she doesn't have a scouse accent, it does sound more Southern than it does Liverpudlian. I think the Wirral is close to Ellesmere Port if I am not mistaken. But they had a report about this on NWT a couple of weeks ago, but she apparently made a speech at the Annual Conservative Party Conference in Blackpool. (How suprsising Laughing ) Though I am not in the Wirral and I am not 18 (Yet) see if anyone for Warrington South is going to do the same thing as her, probably not.

Rather funny when you compare:

California: Arnold Swarchenegger!!!! (WOW)
Wirral: Ester McVey. (Different kind of WOW)

Yes yes yes, I read Wirral this morning, but by this evening in my mind it had turned into Devon.... somewhere in Torbay in fact.

Yes, it's The Wirral

I hate to be pedantic, but Wirral hasn't been in Cheshire since the mid 1970s. Politically, it is part of Merseyside although it has its own unitary local authority.
