Does anyone know where I can get a pair of glassess like those Eric Morcombe used to wear and like Harry Hill wares? Normal optictions don't have them. I would really like them with clear lenes as I don't need to wear glassess.

Thanks

Have a look in local costume shops - they usually have novelty glasses available....failing that try charity shops and even supermarket reading glasses stands.

as somebody who has worn glasses since aged 7 i cannot understand people who don't need to wear them wanting to

you should try having to wear them every day for 29 years because you cannot see otherwise

glasses are visual aid not a fashion accessory, you'll be wanting a white stick and a guide dog next

I've worn glasses for about 15 years and I don't have a problem with them...

But I think it's good that they're considered a fashion accessory. It makes it less of a stigma for those who do wear them. Having said that I'm one of those deceitful people who wears contact lenses.

I think if you read between the lines, Greggles might think that he will be as funny as Eric or Harry by wearing their spectacles.

I'm afraid that simply won't be the case, no more than wearing a gold band in your hair makes you Wonder Woman.

And I should know.
