They have "jazzed" up the theme. When I first heard it I thought it was even worse but it grows on you. Vocals are the same. Episode 3 or 4 is where Star Trek appears on the credits.

It does not appear that the Romulans will be making an appearence this season. They are really building on the Xindi story line. Its def the best season so far and Im really into Enterprise now.

The current season is to last for 24 episodes - Ive just seen episode 13 and the next 4 or so are continuing the Xindi storyline arc so i expect the season finale will probably bring the Xindi to an exciting conclusion. Twilight (episode Cool is an excellent episode.

Regarding repeats, Enterprise has been on repeats for a week now with the next new episode airing in the middle of January.
No they will most likely bring the romulans in much later . I have heard that they have written the template for the final episode already!, thou i guess it will be adapted as the show goes on. Do we see much more of the klingons in this season? i think they havent had enough exposure.

There have been NO Klingons at all in the first 13 episodes. The Andronians pop in in a couple of episodes time but its been mainly Xindi.

That is a shame I loved the action scenes with the Klingons in 'The Expanse' there is potential for some great episodes with the Klingons.

Bring back the Borg!!
Shocked Are you mad??
Did you see the episode of ENTERPRISE that had the borg in it?
Archer defeated them in one episode, Picard couldn't defeat them properly.
Making Archer & co look more tech-advanced and smarter than their next gen counterparts who exist centurys after them. Confused

What were they thinking. Rolling Eyes

Wasnt quite like that - Remember the Borg only had a old transporter to use - Ok, they upgraded it but there was only so much they could do with it. Archer got lucky. It was the best episode of Season 2 and Im pleased to say many of season 3's episodes have been as good, with of course, the ususal clanger - North Star springs to mind.

Also, Season 3 of Enterprise will be the first on Sky One in widescreen.

Also, their are rumours abound that Sky One might be getting a new look early next year, on Monday 5th January 2004. Perhaps this might conincide with the channel moving to full 16:9 for everything, including ads, promos, idents, menus etc., only going back to 4:3 for 4:3 programmes.

I don't watch Enterprise, I never really warmed to it, my trekiness ended with A) the end of Voyager and B) Nemesis.

But, the Borg were in an episode of Enterprise? The Borg were first introduced in season 2 TNG in 'Q Who?' when Q shunted the Enterprise over to the delta quadrant and this was the first time the federation had known of their existance. I should also point out that in that episode the Borg were interested only in assimilating technology - they would certainly kill to get it, but assimilating people into their collective just didn't happen (indeed in that episode there is even a scene featuring a 'borg nursery', showing 'baby borg' growing up.

Am I now to take it that the Borg have also appeared in Enterprise, set about 200 years before the supposed first contact with them? How did they explain this away?

This I feel is the inherant weakness in having a prequel series. They've got 40 years worth of Star Trek to draw on, but they are having to make it fit in to a world where most of what was depicted in TNG/DS9/VOY didn't exist.

The Borg were survivors from First Contact.
(Altho you'd think picard would have scaned the planet for signs of the borg before returning to the 24th cen.)

BTW, they also had the ferengi in ENTERPRISE.

Still doesn't answer the question though - The Borg when first introduced 16 years ago (wow TNG is getting on a bit now isn't it?) were an entirely new species that had never been encountered before. Now they appeared in Enterprise. How does that tie in with the TNG storyline? How did they manage to appear 200 years before they were introduced in TNG as a never before heard of species? Were the NX01 crew just very bad at making logs?

The Enterprise crew never found out who they were.

It fits just fine, if you watch it. Trust me, it's a really good ep.

I can agree with others here that this series of Enterprise is by far and away the best one so far.

I'd totally lost the plot with it by the end of season two, but three has been a cracker.

The music has been remixed - I hated it at first - but I really quite like it now. Mind you, I never hated the previous mix ...
