Depends really. It's well known how people can't proeprly hack being famous, that's why in the world of celebrity there's so much depression, sucide attempts, drugs, drinking, rehab etc....

I also advocate that the saga over the dropping of EastEnders will spill over into the commercial sector, which will lead to ITV bringing back the 1989 generic look. which everybody including UTV will adopt.

Personally, getting rid of Spencer Moon will do EE the world of good, he was a lame character. Spencer's last scenes will be shown in January.
Reminds me a bit of what happened with poor Michelle Ryan a few years ago and David Scarboro back in the 1980s - the pressures of work and the fame of being in a soap opera taking its toll on young actors in the most nasty way.
