'Ender the road for Spencer Moon

I see Spencer Moon is disappering from our screens as Chris Parker had decided he isn't going back.

I missed what happened to him as I was holiday, didn't a newspaper out him?

I think a news paper did make refrences to his sexuality he was very upset took and overdose and was in hospital .

bloody hell. the poor daring. i mean, if somebody called me an old queen or something killing myself would be the first thing i'd think to do. what a pleb.

The other theory doing the rounds is that it wasn't the kiss-and-tell story that upset him, rather that he found out he was being axed.

Depends really. It's well known how people can't proeprly hack being famous, that's why in the world of celebrity there's so much depression, sucide attempts, drugs, drinking, rehab etc....

Hopefully this will lead to the axing of Shane Richie - plus the Slaters and Mitchells. Otherwise, it'll be the whole show that needs axing!

How do you leap to that conclusion?

I don't know, but I think it'll bring about the demise of Lorraine Heggasy and will bring back the balloons too.

I also advocate that the saga over the dropping of EastEnders will spill over into the commercial sector, which will lead to ITV bringing back the 1989 generic look. which everybody including UTV will adopt.

Personally, getting rid of Spencer Moon will do EE the world of good, he was a lame character. Spencer's last scenes will be shown in January.

Reminds me a bit of what happened with poor Michelle Ryan a few years ago and David Scarboro back in the 1980s - the pressures of work and the fame of being in a soap opera taking its toll on young actors in the most nasty way.
