It all looks quite credible till you realise there's a bed in the shot.
You then understand that it's just some bloody anorak's collection.

It was used prior to the 'ITV Schools on 4 era' - I believe 'What the Papers Say' was one of the first Granada Productions for Channel Four.
I'm sure I've seen the Granada International endcap before, not sure on what programme.

Nice to see the HTV Wales aerial ident!
Is the Granada Production for Channel 4 endcap from when Granada used to make schools programmes shown on C4? I cant recall them making any other programmes for C4?

Same here, you would think with electronically generated startboard they would just use a electronically generated endboard too, but obviously not.
I remember in the Liquid Gold era, YTV added a cheap-looking endboard onto older productions, with a blue strip added under the word 'Production' - whereas the 'real' Liquid Gold version used on the new material has the blue colour continuing further up the screen.

I'm surprised they were still using the cardboard endboards as late as 1989

Some Corrie episodes in the 1960s have the Granada International front and endcaps. From the 1970s onwards though its just a Granada Production front/endcap.

I noticed on the New Statesman DVD the shading looked a bit odd for computer graphics, explains why now
