Just read in The Times that Caroline Aherne has agreed to return with all the cast to make a one-off BBC One special. The programme will be made by ITV productions (previously made by Granada Television). Aherne started a new life in Austrailia seven years ago, announcing her retirement from television, but now ITV have persuaded her, and she is currently revising the script.

Great News eh?
