It seems strange - glad I didn't go for the option of taping it overnight then!

Back to revivals - and even if a full revival is too much, surely a DVD game isn't out of the question!

Not actually out of the question maybe, but I don't see one working . Even the mental games tended to be physical in some way; and nearly all the games relied on quick reactions. Any game other than straight Q&A doesn't tend to work on a DVD player, and can you see The Crystal Dome being even vaguely adaptable?

There is an old PC game still available online if you search through it (link in Wikipedia I think), which worked quite well - and was ridiculously addictive.

I tried to download it again tonight but I think it's too old for XP - my PC just didn't like it!

Yeah, but there has already been a Crystal Maze 'choose your own adventure' book and a board game. A DVD game could work.

Is there an emulator game available?

Anyway, I'm loving these reruns. I'm even watching instead of local news now! ooooh. It brings it all back.

If you want a laugh, turn on audio description. If ever there is a show that isn't suitable for audio description then this has to be it.

I can understand the appeal for a partially sighted person watching EastEnders or something similar and having the on-screen action described to help them understand what is happening but would a partially sighted person really watch a show like The Crystal Maze?

AD: "He fires ball bearings at six targets"
Contestant: "Its quite easy"
AD: "Its not that easy, he has only hit one so far".

It really adds something to the show.

All set for a bit of Bully..? Razz

They're starting at the 8th series (1990).

1988 infact, but good to see it again as Challenge don't show them as often as they once did. I'm looking foward to seeing Krypton now. Very Happy

Even better considering that they're showing the 1987 series, which Challenge haven't shown at all. Even with Granada frontcap too.

Nice to see the good ol' Granada logo pop up.
