Have FTN gone back to showing series 11 of Bullseye or was the second showing tonight from series 12?

Not sure about that...

I notice The Crystal Maze returns again this weekend at 6pm followed by continued Fort Boyard at 7pm.

They've jumped three years.
First showing was the last episode of the 1987/88 series, copyright date 1988 on the well-known dart board credit sequence.

Second showing was what looked like an entirely random episode from the 1991/2 series complete with references to contestants "we'd seen a few weeks ago", running as if we'd been here before, no mentions of a new series, few changes or anything like that. Credits now on a roller.

There's a thought, when did they introduce and drop the credits scrolling up the dart scoreboard? It wasn't there in 1984 (Challenge were airing 1984 episodes a short while back), it's there in 1987 but it wasn't there in 1991.

I do remember seeing that second showing of Bullseye on the weekend slot, especially Jim's gag about the 'bullseye diet'

Well the curse of the Ftn playout system strikes again (not exclusively an Ftn problem, ITV4 suffers from the same problem). Playing a voice-over for the credits in the wrong place. This happened during tonight's first showing of Krypton, the final of Group C, 1990.

But having said that, Krypton had its own burnt-in voiceover anyway. Apparently somebody (think it was one of the actors in the observation sketch?) featured in that episode died between filming and first transmission. Anybody catch who it was?

It was one of the actors in the Observation sketch, can't remember who it was though. Who did that voiceover?

It was Leonard Sachs, who played the stage actor in the Observation film. Just thought I'd mention that his appearance in the Doctor Who story Arc of Infinity (in which he played Lord President Borusa) is out soon on DVD.

According to the RadioTimes website FTN will be broadcasting 3-2-1 from Saturday 11th August at 6pm in an hour slot (i presume double bills then?).
The Crystal Maze is scheduled for Sunday 12th though.

Yup, the ad sales website confirms it http://www.idigitalsales.co.uk/content/tvchannels/uploadedlisting/Ftn%20Wk%2034.pdf

(I know that's for the week after but that particular PDF isn't available)
