Checking the listing on ID Digital Sales it appears that The L Word returns next Monday... but from series 3. Has series 2 already been on? Series 1 was on Thursdays and then it finished and Teachers came on. There was no series 2! Have they skipped a whole series? It would be really, really irritating if I've missed it!
A late schedule change from FTN - tomorrow night sees a rerun of Series 1 of The X Files from 10pm!!! Why the late change, I'm unsure, but I might tune in as I never really got into this show when it was originally shown on BBC1!

Or BBC Two, Sky One or FX?
No, I didn't. Mind you, I forgot about it tonight as well - was busy watching Tarrant on TV!
I wonder if FTN will bring back the Tonight Show with Jay Leno? They used to show it a few years ago and then stopped it. Does anyone know why?
Since CNBC Europe have decided to show an edited version of the Tonight Show on weeknights it would be great to have the full uncut show back on weeknights on FTN. Give us an alternative from the usual UK chat shows.
Apparently "The gorgeous Melinda" will be back with us tomorrow night (Sunday 28th) for another Fort Boyard! Or so says the continuity announcer despite the fact Jodie Penfold presented tonight's programme.
Or does the continuity announcer not actually know who presented the show tonight and got the names mixed up? If so, that's pretty poor. For example, you wouldn't say Ed will be back presenting the Crystal Maze again the next day when a bald headed guy had just led the team around...
The continuity announcers on Ftn are clearly pre-recorded and its been obvious for a while now that nobody gives any second thoughts to how they're implemented, where they appear, whether they fit or whether they're appropriate (or, for that matter, whether they're the right ones).
Most common situation is a VO that's gets cut off at the end.
I have seen programmes on this channel where an announcement clearly for the credits gets played going into a programme's final part.
Even then the other day I heard an introduction for Dog: The Bounty Hunter play followed by Bullseye. I wouldn't mind but it was even a completely different announcer.
Bullseye seems to suffer from VO overrun where somebody's still talking halfway through the endcap.
