The END of Ftn!

The Crystal Maze just now was class!!! The 1st episode!!! I couldn't remember it at all but the games were superb!!! I thought Rick was pretty relaxed in the role and did a great job. The later episodes introduce the familiar music as the contestants run from one zone to another. Never had the ability to watch 'Challenge' before therefore it was great to see the Maze back again tonight!

Great stuff! Will watch again tomorrow!!!

I noticed Kay Little did not say anything about the end of Quizcall on FTN last night.

The Krypton Factor and Bullseye should be something to watch also!!!

FTN have seemingly gone to bed and forgot to update the overnight tapes, Street Crime is on rather than the scheduled repeat of the earlier Crystal Maze which I was hoping to tape

Yeah, not exactly the most organised of stations, but then not exactly surprising from FTN. Ah well, may as well go to bed!

I saw Crystal Maze earlier! It was funny remembering the things like the contestant having to "kiss the princess" - I used to think that was weird as a kid.

Brilliant, I hope they run the whole 80 episodes throughout the year - including the Eddie Tenpole era and not just repeat the first series.

I think we are due repeats of Treasure Hunt again. I wish they would, loved that show and wouldn't mind taping them.

Also, including the Children's Xmas Specials as I have only seen 3 of those - 2 with Ed (Xmas 2003 and Xmas 2004) and 1 with Rick (Xmas 1992).

I have yet to see the 1990 and 1991 Xmas specials!!! Obviously, I wasn't aware of the specials in these eras!!! But it would be great to see them as being something new and fresh!!! Come on FTN, you can do it!!!

(Obviously, some kind of trailer leading up to the special would be nice so I wouldn't miss it of course!)

I just hope someone has got a regular schedule of these setup on their DVD recorder! ... I can't believe someone is charging £15 for just Series 1 on eBay!

The Crystal Maze bought back memories tonight, especially when the host started playing the harmonica at random points during the game.

I'm going to record them if I can manage to get home from work in time, which is doubtful really...Still, managed to catch tonight's and yesterday's installment!

I was recording them on my PVR but for some reason it doesn't like recording from FTN

There seems to be a noticable edit at the end of the episode with the credits coming up a bit quicker than you expect - don't know if it's covering some reference to C4 or "join us next week" or something.

Elsewhere though no noticable cuts - I thought they might have inserted an ad break between zone 2 and 3.

Probably "next week" - end-of-series aside, ROB nearly always said something like that.
