Was FTN prepared for this alteration thought? The TV listings say The Maze is on at 6pm. There was no continuity announcer into Gladiators at 6pm - the computerised system cannot handle late changes like this I suppose?

My Freeview EPG had flagged up Gladiators at 6pm since the early afternoon so I don't think it was that late a change.

I'd be inclined to suggest they hadn't recorded any new continuity links or made any new "coming up" slides as the ones they had were for Crystal at 6 and Gladiators at 7 so told the system not to play any. Not that its ever stopped Ftn running the wrong announcements before.

'Play Live Roulette' is now on Ftn midnight to 3am. Let's hope Virgin 1 will get rid of quiz crap altogether when it does rebrand.

I notice that Richard O'Brien seems to have more difficulty with the hydraulic lift in the Futuristic Zone in series 2. Last night, they had to use a ladder and tonight, he had to move the lever several times before ascending.

Later in the series, I think they use the ladder again.

Was this some kind of joke or was the lift actually out of order during filming this series?

Well, it definately went alot faster when they did us it.

IIRC the whole set was relocated for series 2, so there could have been problems.

Was it me or did FTN re-wind back to the beginning of series 11 of Bullseye on the second showing this evening?

Yep, they did indeed. Don't know why that happened.

Krypton Factor 1988 now showing. Got several videos of the 87 final last night, will upload them to youtube shortly.

Woo Hoo!!! Fort Boyard tonight at 6pm! Haven't seen this since it stopped on Channel 5 many years ago! Didn't watch all of the original series as it clashed with certain things also!

I shall definitely tune in tommorow!! Hopefully, it will be Melinda Messenger boucing around the fort!

Did anyone watch tonight's episode - I was late back from work and missed it!

How come The Crystal Maze has been replaced? It is still listed in listings magazines and also was listed for this week on by Digibox last week?

Just a pity its the Challenge version of the series which they're showing, which doesn't seem as good as the Channel 5 version. I wonder if Ftn might show 'The Desert Forges' some time, perhaps at the weekends.

Of course, both the Crystal Maze and Fort Boyard are based on the same French original version of the latter. Still, I know which one I prefer - the sheer quirkyness of the Crystal Maze. (Plus the fact that I've only ever seen re-runs of Fort Boyard as we don't get C5 over here).
