OK - I've checked various TV listings on the internet and it seems as though Ed or Richard will be returning with their CRYSTAL MAZE this coming MONDAY - rather than in a further week's time as originally thought.
This is GREAT news for Freeview viewers who may have never seen this show before. Hopefully, Ed will be in charge for this run! How about some Children's specials?
It appears that last night's second edition of Bullseye was edited. Coming back from the commercial saw the dartboard-style slide then a quick cut to Jim Bowen.
Also, it looks like they're showing all 4 group finals on the Krypton Factor together. They finished the Group A heats, then went straight on into Group B.
Unfortunately, FTN are reshowing the 1990 1st series of THE CRYSTAL MAZE again - which is fair enough - but they could have showed series 5-6 which hasn't been on yet.
Didn't manage to catch all of the episodes back in January so I will have to try and see them this time around.

They did this the first time they showed 1987 on FTN. The pink and blue credits appeared again on an episode of Bullseye at the weekend, they must not be showing this series in order.
Slightly OT but Challenge were tonight showing an Ed Tudor-Pole episode of The Crystal Maze, so unless they're taking it in turns, I really cannot suggest otherwise.

More likely they don't have terrestrial rights for the Ed Tudor-Pole episodes than anything else. Previously they didn't have any Ed Tudor-Pole episode rights full stop as these don't pull as much of an audience as the Richard O'Brien episodes.
Where are all these Gladiators special episodes coming from? Were these aired first time round on ITV?
The Wiki page has details of the first "International Gladiators" episodes (they weren't all that interesting as things went thanks largely to excessive and pointless input from the (now ex) American Gladiators presenter).
Today Ftn showed a armed forces Gladiators special featuring people from the Army, the RAF and what not. Yesterday was a celebrity special featuring some supposedly famous people who I can't remember anyway. Again it wasn't all that interesting because Mike Adamle, for some reason, was involved.

The International Gladiators certainly was (they also later did an "Ashes series" for a couple of years, once in Australia and once in the UK IIRC). The Armed Forces one rings a small bell, but I'm not sure about the celebrity one - although that was probably of the time too.
Those specials were part of series 4 and were aired around xmas '94, if I recall correctly. International Gladiators was filmed right after them (hence why Shadow is still there) but saved to air in '95.
