Why are they still listing Big Game TV there? That ended a few weeks ago.

The Hits still list it's phone in quiz show yet hasn't been on for a month now, I take it no one can be asked to change them

Cash Call doesn't even deserve to come back. Its the equivelent of this...

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=g-jPL1pTsSE .. .which I've posted before and is an excellent skit in my opinion.

So long as the little man from Budapest and his presenter babes are happy, thats all that matters.

Like with all these crappy quiz shows, theoretically we all know the business gain behind it but is it really making for good TV? NO!

Music channels should be just that, TMF has more normal porgrammes on it now than music videos, it really has taken a big dive down quality wise.

Teachers series 1 has just been shown on Teachers TV (and still is I think at 10pm). Its also been on Trouble so thats why Ftn must be showing it!

Excellent news that FTN is improving so much! I got a couple of questions:

1) Do you think that Fort Boyard (old series 1-4) will be shown on FTN if Challenge re purchase the licences to them?

2) What are the chances of a channel like Challenge ( and/or +1) being added to the Freeview lineup?

Thanks guys Very Happy

If Virgin Media TV don't purchase any rights, none of the Virgin channels will be showing them.

One has to be careful how you describe Fort Boyard and the world "old" - Crystal Maze was based on the original French Fort Boyard, except totally remade and altered accordingly. After it ended, the original fort became ready and Channel 5 commissioned the first "proper" British version which ran for four years. Challenge made a new version in 2003, which I personally think is far better than the episodes made for C5 first time round - sticking Tom Baker in the watch tower was genius.

Probably never (unless a deal is struck with Top Up TV Anytime for selected programming from Challenge). That's what Ftn is on Freeview for - to show the best bits of Bravo, Challenge, Trouble and Living. It's only made a decent effort of doing this since Christmas - prior to this it showed nothing of any great interest.

More to the point, Virgin Media Television already has copious space on Freeview as it is (they own Ftn, half of UKTV (which on Freeview is UKTV History) and Sit-Up TV - bid.tv and pricedrop.tv). Therefore to add something else, one of these bar History would have to come off.

So Catchphrase returns in 1 week's time!!! I wonder which Roy Walker era they will air first? Hopefully nearer the beginning of the run before the newer logo and theme tune was introduced. Time will tell!
