I also noticed that The Krypton Factor was subtitled on FTN today. Has it always been subtitled on FTN?

FTN subtitles a lot of stuff, as does the rest of the Flextech/Virgin channels.
For some reason it doesn't work on Freeview.

Total tosh. I've had Crystal Maze subtitled all the way through on my TUCT-20.

Fair enough. As far as my Freeview box is concerned there are no subtitles on Ftn (or E4+1 come to that). No loss to me though.

Tonights Crystal Maze was the one where the group only entered the dome with one crystal giving them 5 seconds of time. A complete shambles. They were rubbish! Laughing

Although Friday's team got more Crystals, I'd say they were far worse. It's just this team were more unlucky than stupid on the lock-ins and made bad decisions in regard to buying people out.

Notice tonight's game in Ocean zone with the airlock thing being virtually the same as an earlier game in Future (though of course several games reappear in different guises!)

Until this rerun I didn't actually recall how thick some of these people were - makes most Big Brother contestants look like Countdown champions!

Still one of the best shows ever made though - the attempts to recreate it since are pitiful in comparison. So come on C4, as you head for your 25th birthday put your nostalgic hat on and bring this one back from the dead!

Well, it's half-and-half. IIRC, just about everyone who got the motion-sensitive box game (their last) got locked in [I think *one* team may have got away, but that's it]. OTOH, a couple of games earlier, there is no excuse for getting locked in when your teammates are yelling "come out", ROB's doing the 5-4, etc countdown and you have no barriers stopping you.

Well, except for the auto-lock in (represented as the sharks), it WAS a straight redress of the S1 Futuristic game, wasn't it?

Talking of the games, one thing I'd been wanting to say which was illustrated perfectly by that log rolling game in the Aztec show - health and safety would probably kill this today.

Still want it back though!

I know, she nearly broke her back and was almost stangled by the rope- and looked in pain for the rest of the show! Very Happy
