Tomorrow's edition (ie Friday 2nd March) is unmissable if you want to have a good laugh!!! As far as I can remember, the 2nd programme in Series 4 leaves Richard O'Brien in stiches at the end and the team are unforgettable!!! Talk about useless or what!?

Apologies - tonight's show wasn't the exact one I meant - the total of MINUS 66 GOLD TOKENS probably is why it sticks in my mind - however, it was still pretty funny and a pretty damn useless team.

The one I mean above should be on MONDAY now - they even outdo tonight's competitors!!! Very Happy

Great, can't wait to see that!

Does anyone know if FTN will be getting a new look anytime soon?

I've noticed FTN are showing the grand finals of the 1989 series of Krypton Factor in order. They showed the 1989 Group A final straight after the final heat in group A

I also like the way the questions in the general knowledge round are made.

The questions usually have the answer of the previous question in them!

Well I learnt something tonight I'm sure I didn't imagine it when he said it was the 9th (?) year Shocked Never realised it had been on so long prior to the 1989 series, I though it only started in 1987

It was the Kryptons 13th year, started in September 1977.

I've also got the observation round of the 88 grand final to upload still, it should be online tonight.

13TH!!!! I though I had misheard it (it was on the telly in the background) but not by that much. Anybody have any links of these 1977 episodes be interesting to see how dated they are Laughing

There's some highlights on youtube of the grand finals if you search Krypton Factor.

Have the 70's series ever been on Challenge? I too also thought it started mid-80's. Was it networked right from the beginning?

Young Steve Coogan made an appearance tonight. Loved his Bob Geldof impression!

I also noticed that The Krypton Factor was subtitled on FTN today. Has it always been subtitled on FTN?

Can't say I've noticed. Looking forward to the '88 final on YouTube. I only want to hear "The Last Duet" again. (How sad am I! Razz )

I see FTN are going back to their roots and bringing back Grub Smith with Travel Sick 2 tonight. Rolling Eyes I hope this isn't a continual thing or he'll be on all year! When FTN first started, after 10pm consisted of Grub Smith, Grub Smith, Grub Smith, Richard Arsehold, Grub Smith, Cruel Winter, Grub Smith and Date my Mate or something.

FTN subtitles a lot of stuff, as does the rest of the Flextech/Virgin channels.
For some reason it doesn't work on Freeview.
