I remember his bingo-style gameshow on BBC1 in the early nineties. I have a trailer for that (followed Going Live) on VHS somewhere.

Odd selection there. The Mike Moran theme was certainly different to the Art of Noise one.

I remember some of the shows he hosted, one was Family Catchphrase which was repeated on Challenge (albeit at 5.00am) not too long ago and you sit back and you just cringe. But AIUI this is also the same Andrew O'Connor who is the producer of Channel 4's rather excellent Peep Show

Yep, he's now chief executive of Objective Productions which also produces a lot of Derren Brown's programmes and Balls of Steel to name a few.

Or waiting for his repeat fee and thinking, wow I'd forgot I did that!

One To Win . Exactly the same format as Bob's Full House, only with a different set and Andrew in charge.

This can go in here:

Jim Bowen presents a special edition of Bullseye as (apparently) presented on the Central Television Christmas Tape of 1983.

ftn have moved on to repeating the 1989 series of the Krypton Factor - repeat fees for Steve Coogan then.

Anyone know which episode in the series has the Intelligence test where the contestants must create a map of the ITV regions?

It is definately this series, I remember seeing it when it was on Challenge not too long ago.

Are FTN going to show the 1990 series of the Krypton Factor? or will they go back in time to 1987?

It depends whether Flextech have the rights or not to it.

According to a Challenge post on the forum from April last year, Challenge didn't have the rights to the 1992-1995 series of Krypton. In October 2005 they had part of them (or rather, series 13-16, which would be 1989-1992).

According to Wiki, they've had the rights to 1989-1993 since 1999. Obviously they've added 1987 and 1988 to it as well.

Elsewhere, Flextech have since re-purchased the rights to the Ed Tudor-Pole episodes of Crystal Maze and started airing them on Challenge so I dare say they'll turn up on Ftn in due course.

Looking at the schedule for the first week in March, nothing's changed schedule-wise from 6pm onwards, so its still Takeshi, Crystal, Colin Fry and Most Haunted weeknights, and Bullseye, Krypton, Dog The Bounty Hunter and Most Haunted Almost Live on weekends. The second "series" of Takeshi shouldn't be too far away, Crystal moves onto Series 3 and Most Haunted continues to plod on through Series 6 and into 7 - the "after Derek" era.

yes i'm glad to see the back of andrew o'connor.

an absolutely fab start to the series with anneka rice and kenneth kendal taking part in a special mini-treasure hunt for the observation round. gordon, annie and kenneth in the same programme - i think it is perhaps a contender for the best piece of television ever produced ...

Its amazing how the best nostalgia comes from those Observation rounds.

In fact I was watching the episode of Meet Ricky Gervais earlier where he did a Krypton Factor spoof. The Observation round had a large clock deliberately placed in a random position on the wall (so true! Laughing) . Unfortunately Anthony Wally Pratface was on it complaining someone spelt his name wrong. Idiot.

Also, Bullseye never ceases to amaze me with Jim constantly going "take your time Judy, we're all with you here" then she misses the dartboard by being to nervous! Laughing God forbid anyone gets that weekend trip to Paris!
