This went out on Challenge as well.
I suppose the reasoning is if somebody's too thick to realise they're watching a programme that's 20yrs old, its only going to cost them a stamp to find out that Broad Street has been boarded up for the last ten years and isn't accepting any snail mail

I loved seeing the viewer's question on Bullseye where Jim Bowen invited us to send our answers on a postcard to Central Television on Broad Street in Birmingham. Well done to FTN for not editing that out. It was a lovely reminder of the days before TV shows screwed money out of their viewers at every opportunity with premium phone/text lines.

Probably more to do with ITV's Press Office not knowing ones arse from ones elbow.

QuizTelly hasn't got the best reputation though - not so much with the story, but with the dates. Last year they reported ITV Play were axing their daytime shows that week, but they remained on air a good few weeks longer.

Haha, good on them!
"Answers on a postcard" - oh the good old days. Blue Peter still do that don't they?

Good on them, everytime I go in my local Wetherspoon's, it's usually News 24 or Sky News in cropped mode with subtitles on screen.

Something bizarre last night. I was in Wetherspoons', and, at 7pm, they changed over from the football results to FTN & Old Krypton Factor.
I didn't get it.

Was the second episode of Bullseye tonight from a new series? There was a proper Central ident at the end
First time I've ever seen it in 'digital quality' as such, looks just as good as a CG ident that could be produced today.

No I don't think it was, the animated endcap appears on the later episodes of the 1988 series of Bullseye, and by the 1989 series there is a short lived variant of the Central Production for IT* endcap, as much as I love watching Bullseye I've seen the vast majority of it on Challenge so far.
