5:15 is the "record" as it were for the latest CITV strand programming to finish, as it neatly coincided with the weekend franchise switchover time for the London region.
However in theory, one could class shows such as Blockbusters and what not as part of "grown up" CITV, seeing as Blockbusters took its contestants from colleges aged 16-19 and the aimed audience for Children's ITV was up to 15yrs old... Yes I know it was just filler material up to the evening news at the time but there you go
When they completely changed their schedule and moved the news to between 6 and 7pm that is when they should have moved CITV to the end of the daytime schedule. As it was it made a void in the daytime service - hence sole reason for ITV to try and get rid of the void. IMHO, as already stated they should move the CITV to the end of daytime and before the news. The daytime schedule should look like something linke this....
