It was just the ITV1 ECP, simple white text centred on black background.

I'm confused, did the above actually broadcast then or is it what you would have liked to have seen?

It did happen - even I saw it overhere in NL. Although it wasn't on the omnibus edition this morning!

My point is that Neighbours is an alternative for me to switch too now that emmerdale is going through the rough patch.

I used to enjoy emmerdale now I've given up on it and now start Neighbours.

But does every post you make have to plug Neighbours? I have nothing against the show and I sometimes watch but it's dead annoying.

I think it would be brilliant if Annie came back for a few episodes, it would tie off the old Sugden story in a way but I don't think that's ever going to happen. I reckon Robert should definitely come back.

This might make me unpopular for saying this, but couldn't ITV have left the tribute caption until after the Emmerdale theme and foresake a few seconds of trailers?

I'm sure with previous deaths of soap actors they did this, the only one I can think of is when Bryan Mosley died, a tribute caption came up after the end credits of Coronation Street.

Mind you, at least the ECP wasn't used to promote anything else, and the announcer's tone was solemn and appropriate. Did STV or UTV do similar things?

Yorkshire TV studios doubling up as a makeshift hospital entrance tonight. no hospital signage used just ambulances etc.

An excellent episode but would someone really be able to walk out of a hospital with a newborn baby with security as it is these days?

They don't have armed guards on the doors.
