Awful, awful news! Crying or Very sad

I was shocked when I read he was 63, he looks so much younger!

My thoughts are with his friends and family at this awful time. Sad

Terrible news, 63 is still young as well.

63 is no age and he always looked younger than his years. What a shame. Sad

Terrible news.

I'm reminded of a heart to heart Alan and Jack had in the 35th anniversary edition of Emmerdale remembering old times.

To say the show won't be the same without him is difficult to say because it has changed so much in recent years (probably not for the better in some ways).

But of course Clive/Jack was the patriarch of the show and it's very sad he's gone.

I was shocked when I read this.

I noticed he wasn't on screen, but what was his illness?

It says on the article that Sarah was killed off in 1994, surely it wasn't as long ago as that?? Surprised

They were overrated. He never re-enforced the solder joints between his electrical connections.
