The BBC were slow with that, The Stage had the news yesterday.

Anyway RIP Ronald, I did like the love the Amos and Henry Wilkes era of the Woolpack.

I started watching Emmerdale about the time when Henry Wilkes left (or when the actor was written out in real life due to death).

Sad to hear that Ronald Magill has now died, however, in all truth, as he hasn't been in the show since the mid-nineties, I did wonder how they wrote him out of the show. Did he leave to Spain with Annie Sugden?

Very sad to hear of Ronald's death. Amos was the epitomy of the great British eccentric, and his double act with Henry Wilks made the show before a certain plane came down on the village. Amos WAS The Woolpack and things just weren't the same after he left. For all intents and purposes it might just as well be a chain pub now with Diane a mere manager.

Shameful of ITV1 not to have a dedication last night. I can accept there might not have been time to edit one in yesterday, but tonight there would be no such excuse.

Emmerdale's not on tonight...

That gives them plenty of time to prepare something for Sunday, then, doesn't it.

When Mike Reid died, the same day's EastEnders had the dedication (and no ECP).

Another good Emmerdale today, yet again I believe the storyline was kept a secret

The location of Hotten Police Station looked to be next door to the YTV Calendar building in Leeds

The hit and run was dramatic and shoddy.

Still, Jasmine looked rather fetching tonight, I must say. Wink

I certainly didn't see that one coming, although I'm sure Grace didn't either... Embarassed
Great episode tonight. It probably beat EastEnders. Very Happy

Tuned into emmerdale 2night for the first time in ages, good comedy and drama tonight. Also with the truck, its the first time in a long time that i have seen somthing which i would never have thought of happening. slightly shocking, but also comical in some ways.

Now, tonight's episode. I don't know where Jack and Diane were but it certainly wasn't Margate!

And the cheesy signs and deckchairs to try and imitate that it was made it worse.
