It was such a sad episode last Monday Night; it's been a long time since Emmerdale has done an episode with just the family involved.
I could'nt watch the full week in chunks last week - I had to see it all in the Omnibus Edition at the weekend on ITV2 as a roleover edition.)

Who was that woman that appeared on tonight's Emmerdale? She has appeared in loads of things but I cant think of her name or what she has previously appeared in.

Any ideas Jez?

You mean Bridgit Forsythe - most famous for being in (Whatever Happened To) The Likely Lads, but she has been in so many drama's, soaps and comedies over the years.

Yes thats her! Still cant think of anything she has been in mind!


She hasn't had a programme where she has been the main lead , except for The Likely Lads, but she always seems to get biggish roles in many series. So, yes, nothing memorable she has been in, but a very memorable face !

Was she not in Coronation Street. She played one of Ken Barlow's clients when he was an escort. I have a feeling she actually died in his company.

she was in Coronation Street, and has also appeared in....

Eastenders
Crossroads
Families
Doctors
She had a bit of a main lead in The Practice (Granada's failed attempt at an early version of Doctors - soon replaced by Albion Market!!!)

as previously said - many UK soaps, Drama's and Comedies but no real main lead - shame

Also featuring an early appearance by Bernard Latham (Hollyoaks' Mr C) as a man ordered to have a vasectomy by his wife, but was terrified of the op. On discovering he'd bottled out again, Wifey chased him across a supermarket with a meat cleaver...she worked in the supermarket, before you ask! Rolling Eyes
