I was hoping to avoid Emmerdale last night, but somehow, every pub had it on. How pathetic.

I cant believe how long this storyline has been dragged out - even my mum said it went on for too long and she is a big Emmerdale fan. I gave up watching Emmerdale a year ago and dont miss it. It was just a case of breaking the habit of watching. Plus first look Hollyoaks clashing with Emmerdale didnt help.

Noticed Carl was the only one no-one voted for on the poll here.

It's repeated today on ITV 2, and ombibus on Saturday and Sunday so plenty of chances to catch up.

Emmerdale getting more than twice the figures of EastEnders is a rare event. Emmerdale are definally now close to being the country's number 2 soap

Well to make a formal assessment i guess you would have to put EE and Emmerdale up against each other permantly, instead of these one offs.

How well has Emmerdale being doing recently?

Emmerdale was excellent yesterday but this Tom King storyline has been going too long.

Len's death was a shock but a fantastic use of Jenkins as he was taken away. They all looked genuinly upset too.

Great thanks for the info. Unfortunately I'm out of the country until Tuesday, so I'm at a loss. Pitty ITV don't have their web catch up service launched.
