EastEnders crashed to its lowest ever audience last night, with just 3.9 million viewers against an hour-long Emmerdale special averaging 6.7 million viewers in the half hour it went head-to-head with EastEnders between 7.30pm and 8pm.

So it looks like Emmerdale are back on track following the world cup ratings

yes it was the estate agent. I thought this eppisode was the best one i had ever seen before.

It was one of those jaw dropping moments when it all started to collapse. Mind you the only person I want to live is Diane

And Diane lived following an electric shock/heart bolt (with her wig not moving despite a house falling on it, an emergency rush to hospital and the electric shock to restart her heart). What a woman.

Seriously another fine episode of Emmerdale and a serious contender for Episode of the year at the next Soap Awards for last nights hour long episode.


Excellent acting with serious concerns plus a lot of development laid in place for more storylines. What could be better from a soap.........

Has anyone got some clips from this ep?

I thought Emmerdale was quite good, although continuity errors, it all looked realistic to the point of the expolsions in different places at different times, and how the characters outside, just stood their till after the break.

All in all a good ep, but needs continuity
