I've always thought that but it would be pointless without Steph. It wouldn't have the same impact. Of course we never saw her die, and because her body has never been found there will always be that possibility - something the writers obviously intended. I doubt anything is set in stone, but maybe one day.

I don't know but I reckon Shelly comes back sometime. That would be an interesting twist.

Must admit I never watched Brookie but I did recognise him from Crossroads (Freeman era to the end of the Lancaster era!) when he used to run the village shop and then became a barman at the hotel.

Suprised the Kings ain't tried to get the Dingles evicted, like Frank Tate tried to years ago!

Just watching Emmerdale tonight when Zack and LIsa Dingle sell some of their land to Marlion and his wife for £1. One question came to my mind - when did the Dingle's own the land, never mind their house - IIRC didn't the Tates own the land and property (and should now be the Kings)?

Did you all see tonight's Emmerdale, with Calendar's Duncan Wood making an appearance as a newsreader reporting on the Windsor-Dingle kid-nap. He even got named in the credits

What a good Emmerdale tonight, especially the special christmassy theme music that they used, other soaps don't do that!
Obviously so many suspects of who killed gruff Tom King
Just a pitty tonight's episode will have underperformed in the ratings, lets hope those people who missed it will manage to catch the ITV2 repeat or else the next few months of storylines will be pretty meaningless
