According to the BBC Reception Advice website, Emley Moor is due to be shut down tomorrow (BBC1 and BBC2 transmitters only) between 3:30 and 4:30AM and DAB will be on reduced power between the same times.

Not particularly big news, I know, as it'll be taking place when most are asleep, but just in case anyone will be up at that time I thought I'd let you know just in case you didn't know what was going on.

Not sure of the official reason for the shutdown/reduced power though.

The transmission from Emley moor was cut off at 03:38 and resumed at 04:02. Only 24 minutes was lost. Does anyone know the reason why transmission was stopped this morning? Not that it was much of a loss though, as another poster said.
