In principle it applies to all football. But UEFA can’t bind non-UEFA associations, of course.

What could be shown? 3pm is 10:00am ET, and football from the Americas is unlikely. Most of the Asian counties that football might be played in at that time are in UEFA and it’s nighttime for the rest. You’re left probably with African football, and afaik there’s currently no African league with a U.K. TV deal.

We’ve been here before, any non UEFA sanctioned match could be shown but would be frowned upon. BT Sport had this situation with an overrunning A League cup match in ET that concluded within the blackout period. It continued to conclusion as per normal.

The 5:15pm cut off went and...fifteen more minutes later, before the Juventus game appeared on the Facebook page.

Edit: they seem to have abandoned the Facebook stream of the game entirely, directing people to ElevenSports.uk now. Of course that’ll be no help to people who already used a free trial for the golf.

Games that unexpectedly overrun into the blackout window can be shown to their conclusion. A game scheduled to finish during it would have to be cut off (so generally wouldn’t be shown- at least not live), and we’ve seen what happens with games scheduled to start during it.

When the Saturday lunchtime Premier League games kicked off at 12:45pm there was one match where a player sustained a bad injury. The amount of injury time took the game beyond the 2:45pm start of the blackout window, but the match was shown to the end.

I think there was an FA Cup replay a few years ago that was scheduled for a Saturday lunchtime with a 12:15 or 12:30pm kick off that went to extra time (possibly penalties). That went way past the start of the blackout window, but again it was shown to its conclusion.

Just been watching the Eleven Sports coverage of Burnley VS Olympiacos (We lost 3-1)

I like the graphics they had on, I like the commentator where they talked about both side fairly and I liked the way the coverage went. Hope to see more soon.

The graphics were just the graphics from either the world feed or the host broadcaster. From what I saw no studio presentation and I guess the commentators were off-tube too.

Have they their own presentation and commentary for La Liga or is it all world feed?

The small bit of it I saw they had their own commentators but no one in-vision or in a studio. I'm not sure if all matches have been the same though. Matches on La Liga TV do have commentators and reporters in vision at the grounds though.

In other news they have just added Chromecast support to the website only (not on the app just yet).
