Tonight's Liquid News revealed the set for BBC News and a bit of ITN News on election night (sorry, not Sky's though!!)

I'm encoding the report into a Real Media file which I'll upload soon, but in the meantime, I'll do some proper screenshots coming shortly.

Slightly off topic Asa, but how is your name pronounced?

Ace-r or Ass-a

It's quite an uncommon name, and at frst I thought it was a nickname. Smile

Hehe - the number of times I've been asked (I always hated it when supply teachers would turn up because you'd hear the previous name in the register then a long pause before someone shouts 'it's Asa!!' )

By the way Nick, it's a fair question. The number of times people have pronounced it wrong during my life!

By the way, it's Ace-r   Capital 'A' and 'sa' if that helps!

Cheers,
Asa

Lifted this from the ITV-Election Website :

Here is the set,

Apparently this is ITV's most spectacular election set ever, and the most complex. Comprising of 2 floors, built in the atrium of ITV / ITN Headquarters, plus a virtual studio.

'We'll see Dermot apparently sitting on the green benches of an incredibly lifelike House of Commons, or calling up complex graphics to show the battleground over which the parties must fight - names and numbers whirling out of space to form seemingly solid shapes, giving all the facts and figures about what's happening'

Rather than get everyone to download the images whether they want to or not on this thread, I've posted them here:

If it is, CRAP! - I'm working at Radio then doing newshour. God, it'll be newsnight! And I wanted to see the BBC's coverage. (and 5NEWS' - if they do one)
Oh, poo!
By the way, for those who can vote:
PICK UKIP - United Kingdom Independance Party.
Say no to Eu-ro.

I have to say that this election is becoming the biggest non-event of the year. The networks are desperately trying to make it interesting, but it seems as if the campaigns are fizzling out, maybe they started too early. The result is a foregone conclusion, it's just a matter of how big the majority will be. I will be watching however on the night to catch some of the technical wizardry being used. Hopefully ITV will put in a better performance this time, it just seems that when it comes to national events, more people prefer to turn to the beeb.

Not really to do with tv (although its MTVs website....)

Visit:- http://yourmum.mtv.co.uk/mtv.co.uk/en/search/features/stereomps/index_test.html

And see the stero MPs

(In tacky American accent 'as featured on yesterdays BBC 1'Oclock news' )
