It seems that on Red Button they have CBeebies content on air in the 11am hour and educational CBBC content from 12pm through to 3pm.

Also did they realise what channel comes after BBC Red Button on Freeview?

You can delete the adult channels like we do or put a pin on them but while it would be more appropriate to actually be on the CBBC channel they must have plumped for the Red Button as the World Snooker should have been on by now and they have a lot on content to fill.

Yes, we just remove the adult channels, never going to watch them so why clog up the EPG. I assume they don't broadcast in the daytime anyway?

Besides, the Red Button channel is meant to be watched using the red button!

It's not more appropriate on CBBC, because it would mean replacing all the children's content all day. The educational programmes aren't for the entire age group that CBBC broadcasts to. This way they'll have something to watch while there's schools programmes aren't apt for them

Looks like there's no surrounding presentation between programmes and that it's just a case of fading between them.

Not quite, I had a nosey earlier and there was a Bitesize-branded menu between 2 shows.

It must have been between the strands as I saw one between the 7-12 and 13+ programmes.

Oh, never mind I've just seen it between Meet The Romans and Pain, Pus and Poison. I must say the music is quite nice.

Don't know why an unofficial BBC Four logo is being used on the Bitesize website to promote the homeschooling offering across the BBC:

Some less savvy BBC staffer did a quick Google search rather than go through official channels to find the correct logo. Seen this happen so many times. Laughing

Surely it would be quicker to go to somewhere on an Intranet where it has a link to some "high resolution BBC logos" or whatever for such this purpose?
You shouldn't have to Google one of your own channel's logos, should you?!
Or am I missing something?

I couldn't spot that creation anywhere when I search on Google for "BBC Four logo".

Is it possible then that it ISN'T unofficial, and they've accidentally leaked a rebrand?

But the BBC would never use anything on screen that looked that bad. Laughing
