Thanks - I did it all from memory, and prediction.

I remember that Huw Edwards was on on News Year's Eve and Nicholas Witchell was on on New Years Day. George Alagiah was on on Xmas Day, etc.

For North West Today, I watch one North West Today bulletin and one NW Tonight. The same presenter does them in holiday periods. i.e. NW Today - Nigel Jay, NW Tonight - Martin Henfield

If you want, I can send some pics of the North West Today/Tonight presenters to Asa for TV Home.

Can anyone tell me why news 24 disregaurd bank holidays and treat it as a normal monday. why have a business presenter when only america is trading. I dont get why news 24 is normal and every other bbc channel has a different schedule than normal. saturdays and sundays are different on news 24. i just thought they would treat a bank holiday as a sunday style day of programs.

I think it's good that News 24 treat bank holidays as normal days. There is no need to change the programming, and just because it's a bank holiday doesn't mean that the news stops.

Dont get me wrong i think its good too that they treat it as a normal day but i just couldnt understand why every bbc channel except news 24 did things slightly differently e.g. there is no news at six or ten. there is only shorter news bulletins etc.

There does seem to be more news around at weekends and on Bank Holidays then there is time for in the main BBC bulletins. Should they be longer and at the same time as on weekdays? I suppose some weekends and Bank Holidays are busy and some just aren't!
