Is Easter the general time when new seasonal programmes on the BBC are screened? I understand that in past years many re-vamps/rebranding have taken place around Easter – the BBC virtual reality news set was introduced on 13th April 1993, the new BBC idents were introduced on 18th February 1985 and again on 16th February 1991. I wonder if in a week or two, we’ll see some new television presentation on the BBC…..
i guess we’ll have to wait and see…..
I think it's quite random really, though in the UK traditionally new batches of programmes come out in September, January and after Easter, so often revamps follow suit.
Is this another thread that hopes for a BBC ONE rebrand?
If it is then when will people realise that the dancers are staying for another good couple of years as is that Two even if they are running out of ideas.
Well the launch of ITV Day is coming a fortnight after Easter this year.

From 11 April ITV1's daytime output will use the ITV Day brand, and there will be some schedule changes, such at the new hour-long Lunchtime News.
so they've spent all this time unsuccessfully drumming this "itv 1" name into us, only to go and brand daytime with a name that is minus the 1.
To me it sounds like a very stupid name. True, it's the day, but what's wrong with Daytime?
As for Day on it's own, surely that brand would be more suited to ITV2, at least then the name would make some sense.
As for schedule changes, what does change for ITV1 from the 11th?
The Lunchtime News is extended, isn't something replacing Trisha at this point, or will that come later, be it Springer or the People's Court? Then with the news moving everything in the afternoon will too.
And of course we now know that five are planning changes too, the first being moving Trisha to her old 9:25 slot, all be it on another channel.
But with The Wright Stuff currently airing at 9, and Trisha Goddard on for an hour, will it mean spliting the wright stuff, or of course extend Milkshake, and have the Wright Stuff after Trisha at 10:30.
