Hi there,

From memory on New Year's Eve, the EastEnders credits have a full cast list of everyone that has featured on the show in the past 12 months don't they?

But is it New Year's Eve or New Year's Day?

I only ask as i'd like to record it as I know some people that have been in it and may be name checked.

Thanks.

Isn't it usually the last Sunday omnibus of the year?

I can confidently predict that it won't be the New Year's Eve edition this year.

When you say 'extended', I'm guessing you just mean more are there and it's sped up, because heaven forbid the nazis in Pres will allow anything longer than 30s that can't be squeezed! Or is this the one single exception?

The omnibus edition always has a longer end credits than the regular weekday edition, so I assume it will be this extended theme, or is it extended further?

I think it's normally just the 45sec version. Not sure if there's still a requirement for everyone to be credited at least once a year (or was that a myth?) but nice that they do do it. Hopefully Network won't squeeze.

Isn't it this version of the credits music they use

(sorry its the only link i could find, but its a rather poor mock of the credits, but it is the full length credits music used).

They just got shown in today's omnibus.

Just the usual omnibus credits music however.

I was going to say, iPlayer is your friend. But for whatever reason the omnibus hasn't turned up on the iPlayer.
http://www.bbc.co.uk/iplayer/episode/b00gfk6q/EastEnders_Omnibus_28_12_2008/ is where it'll be, can take up to six hours apparently, should be there by 23:30.
