I overheard a party of Octogenarians today talking about tonight's EE. What was interesting was they referred to BBC 3, as ' Channel 7 ' !!!
Tomorrow's is the fully live one, today's episodes just have live segments, they should have the #EELive hashtag on screen.

There was a couple in my local co-op who were talking about repeats of The Bill and referring to the channel it was on as "twenty". Believe me, it's more common than you might think!

I'm guessing the opening scene being them finding Nick dead was a reference to the opening scene of the very first episode. Watching this evening the script writing seemed to be fairly good in terms of keeping you guessing as to who did it. No surprise that the reveal part was done live, and I'm guessing that more than one character/actor may have rehearsed appearing in front of Ian.
I did wonder whether they were planning an explosive ending to the episode, though I guess they decided they've blown up the Vic a bit too recently. I seem to recall the last (or recent) time Eastenders was live it featured someone else giving birth though. I'm assuming that filming in or near Greenwich was done primarily because they were live.

Probably a very nerdy observation but some very nice titles just there. Was wondering if they'd do anything like back in 2010.

I think they also filmed away from the set because
