Other regulars with possible motives for murdering Pauline are her son Martin (James Alexandrou) and her hubby Joe Macer (Ray Brooks), both at 3/1. Martin was fuming with Pauline for lying about having a brain tumour and planning to leave him for a fresh start in America.

Pauline’s own marriage went downhill after she found out Joe was a convicted burglar.

Also in the frame are Peggy Mitchell (Barbara Windsor) at 10/1, and Dot Cotton (June Brown) at 20/1.

Peggy hated Pauline after she threw a fundraising party for her — only to discover she was lying about being ill. Then Dot rowed with Pauline just before her death as she tried to persuade her NOT to leave Albert Square.

The killer is revealed on the Beeb soap in February.


Get it in your thick skull EastEnders, no-one cares anymore, and the sooner that's realised, the bleeding better!

What were you all looking for on Christmas day then? I'm just asking out of curiosity?

I personally think it would have been better if we actually got to see Pauline being murdered, preferably by Martin. Now, Rebecca could have seen Sonia slap Pauline, but then later we could have got Martin to go round - Pauline going mad and then Martin stabbing her in a knee-jerk reaction. That way, we know who killed Pauline, and will Martin let Sonia go down for something she did not do?

Ah This must mean Mr Santer will be revealing the Killer to us then,I Hope he does it well.I'm going to put a bet on the killer make me a bit of money

I think there will be some sort of flashback, and we see whoever, murder Pauline. Gosh FEBRUARY? We have to wait THAT long? And DOT COTTON? Murderer?

Well me too. After the alleged 'attack' took place, we saw Pauline walking across the square quite normally. If it were murder then surely she'd have looked liked she'd just been attacked - but there was nothing to make me believe she'd been attacked, absolutely nothing.

This is why this show annoys me.

Well I would have thought Mr Santer would reveal the murderer next December 25th! Very Happy Very Happy Very Happy .... Mr Santer.... Mr Santa!

I missed a couple of epsidoes last week so let me get this straight..
May paid Dawn to get an abortion at a private clinic?

Dawn buys a pair of boots and plans to get an bortion on the NHS instead.

May confronts Dawn and tells her ''women like you make me sick'' because they have abortions, when Mayh actually wanted her to have an abortion?

May pleads Dawn to have her baby and give it to her.

It is so confusing.

May didn't pay her, Rob did. May found out and was obviously upset but couldn't say anything because she believed the abortion had taken place. Last night, she found out it hadn't, and decided to ask Dawn to keep the baby seeing as she is so desperate for one but can't have one of her own.

Simple. Kind of.

I like the whole idea of selling the baby, nice, original idea from EastEnders there... Rolling Eyes
