..and the striking resembelance to Miss Piggy. She's such a drama queen and apparently a right diva backstage. Rolling Eyes

And may I just say that the fact Patrick is related to Squiggle and Denise is the most far-fetched storyline ever. What next? Pauline's dog Betty used to be human and is related to Dot? Rolling Eyes

Tonight's episode was a little more interesting, although I had to laugh at the actress playing Chelsea, she really is a bad actress. She's even worse then the kid who plays Ben. She's either in a mood, crying or shouting.

I have to say, it is sounding good from all the snippets i've heard and read. Lets just hope it holds up onscreen.

Well I'm glad you agree it was bad, oh so bad.

In contrast, EastEnders wasn't actually that bad last night, although the usual suspects let it down (Chelsea, Deano, Carly, Kevin). Poor Diane Parish, having to act alongside that lot .

Interestingly, the best moments have been the scenes with Bert and Evie, the storyline I was most dreading because I didn't think Bert was a good enough character to pull off a storyline like this. Thankfully I was proved wrong.

Christmas does look good actually, but then EastEnders always tends to make an effort over Christmas.

I'm intrigued to know what happend to Pauline's walls? Did she have a fire or something? I don't follow the show at all these days, it was on in the background while I was on the phone.

Yeah, she accidentally set the house on fire with a cigarette a couple of weeks ago, after overhearing Martin, Joe, Dot and Sonia talk about her and this was when she found out that Martin and Sonia had been seeing each other again. When she came home from the hospital she decided to tell Martin and Joe that she had a brain tumour, although this was a complete lie and just her attempting to get martin to stay with her as long as possible and not go off with Sonia.

You really didn't need to know all that, but yes, there was a fire. Very Happy

Thanks! Actually I had wondered what was "wrong" with Pauline as I may watch for a while just to see how she departs (I've not ready any spoilers) as I watched Easties until about 10 years ago and I'd like to know how such a longstanding character goes. It was a perfect answer, cheers Smile

Jim made a re-aperance in the show last night - he looked like he had been away on holiday in a sunnier location... not in bed with a cold! Very Happy
