Fantastic episode tonight although i was confused by the ending until i did a rewind.

Little Bobby was wonderful tonight,Oh how he cracked me up coming out in all those costumes.

I found him funny to, typical tot wanting to go to creche in his princess costume. he seemd to be looking past the camera most of the time, probably at his real mum.

I lost the plot with Jane in the park and Ian taking Bobby on a detour via the Park, was he meant to meet her and she thought it was Grunt or something, and why did he throw his phone away?

I haven't watched Mondays episode yet,But i believe ian bought that phone to test Jane's love for him/grant.He used that phone to text her claiming to be grant and asking her to go to the park.

He walked to the park to see if she was there,She was so he felt rejected and knew Jane's answer so threw the phone away...And this leads up to next week.

Why is everybody singing praises for Bobby Beale? He didn't exactly say anything, and it's not his acting that constituted an ''enjoyable episode'' is it? I found it cringeworthy.
I liked the ending, where Pauline resorted to a cigarette after so long. It really caused the intense working of emotions.

Me too. It's the cute factor. He didn't exactly have to do anything except stand there.

thanks for answering that one

why does the post title say 'will Pauline die',
they only filmed the funeral this week so she won't pop her cloggs until at least February

No dear.
She dies on Christmas Day (or Christmas Die) and the funeral is in January.

Yeh because AFAIK they film eight weeks prior to broadcast, so that makes it a (rather late) January funeral, but I guess if it's suspected murder then things usually take slightly longer.

Steve McFadden is a brilliant actor but he's getting some awful scripts!

A very good, gripping episode of EastEnders lastnight. I enjoyed Ian winding up the Mitchell's with his devious plan. EE feels like it's on a roll at the moment - I hope they keep the momentum up to Christmas (and beyond).
